Bad things Canadian companies are doing right now

Telus:
No plan add-ons from phone-in.
Your add-on plan expires after 30 days. You buy more Telus pay-as-you-go credit. You call #123 ro add your plan again. There is no option to add the plan. This forces you to continue to pay for your phone calls, sms, data until you can get to a computer to add your plan, or, if you need to call someone or use Google Maps or something right away, you have to buy minutes or data, or just pay by the call or megabite.
Why Telus does this? There can only be one logical reason, since they offer all their other service options in their call-in menu: They want to charge you double: They want you to pay for your add-on later, but right now they also want to charge you to use your phone or data outside of the plan you're going to buy.

Walmart:
No phone service inside Walmart.
Guess it interferes with getting the maximum out of shoppers? But it's a crappy thing to do. What if there's an emergency? Even if there is no emergency, it's a bad business that blocks people's phones in their store.
